Bon Iver's self-titled second album comes out in June--not exactly the depths of winter. But for music this cathartic, context readily dissolves. Check out "Calgary," a powerful (and seamless) transition from the Wisconsite's first full length, For Emma, Forever Ago. You may recall it was the best album of 2008. Bonus: check out the making of the beautiful Midwestern winter scene that doubles as the album cover art.
