Lots of Things

(Sigur Ros)

The D Man's baby hiatus is over.  You know what it's like to have a fourth kid?  Imagine you are drowning, and then someone hands you a baby.  (Mostly) joking aside, The D Man is enjoying brilliant summer and will be hitting a string of great concerts in the near future.  I still have a Sun Kil Moon concert breakdown to share.  And Stark the Vinyl Shark wants to talk new classic rock.  So things are looking up!  Blog posts coming!  Baby and all!
  • Check out Chvrches performing "The Mother We Share" on Fallon.
  • Enjoy the television premiere of the enigmatic duo Rhye.  Damn that falsetto!
  • Harrington just figured out that Muchacho is a fine album.  Welcome to the fiesta.  Better late than never.
  • Pearl Jam announced a new album.  Check out "Mind Your Manners."
  • The D Man has been obssessed with Evenings.  Check out this track from Yore.
  • Finally stumbled on Inc.  Check out a track from No World.  Not that The D Man needs any baby-making music at the moment.
  • Volcano Choir's second release, Repave, sounds expansive and promising.  Check out Justin Vernon and his mates doing their thing on "Byegone."
  • We are getting round two of The 20/20 Experience.
  • Beck released some new material.
  • The D Man has been immersed in Random Access Memories, Trouble Will Find Me, and Kveikur.  Check out "Isjaki" below.  The lyric video will not be helpful.  But the music will.
